On Tuesday, 6 August, Sushma Swaraj breathed her last. Her funeral took place on Wednesday.

Most of you who listen to this podcast, will remember Swaraj as India’s external affairs minister during the first tenure of Modi’s government.

However, from her stint as the first woman chief minister of India’s capital city to being one of India’s most loved external affairs ministers, Sushma Swaraj went beyond the offices she held, winning hearts and garnering fans along the way.
