The Congress president reacted by welcoming his sister into the party’s fold.

“This makes me very happy. My sister, who is a very capable politician, will be working with me. You’ve seen how the BJP has destroyed UP. We want to give UP a new direction.”

The BJP, at the outset, took a dig at the Congress on the grounds of dynasty politics.
