Ahead of its release, a special screening of Student of the Year 2 was held for Bollywood. Among those who turned up to show their support were Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Abhishek Bachchan, Kartik Aaryan, Karan Johar and Khushi Kapoor. Arjun and Kartik were spotted sharing a warm hug, while Malaika arrived with sister Amrita Arora and Aayush Sharma. Varun Dhawan, who made his debut in the original Student of the Year, was seen sharing some laughs with Sara Ali Khan. The film’s leads – Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday – were all smiles as they posed for photo-ops with director Punit Malhotra.

Student of the Year 2 is a sequel to 2012 film Student of the Year, which launched the careers of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra. The film stars Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Pandey. It has been directed by Punit Malhotra and backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The film hits theatres on 10 May.
