Arshad Khan, Instagram’s most recent sensation, has made a slight shift in profession, from Chaiwala to model, all because of a photo that he didn’t even realise was being taken.

There’s a reason the internet thinks he’s beautiful, and it has nothing to do with class, or colonial baggage or the colour of his skin.

At least, not for the first thirteen milliseconds.
