The month-long fast or Roza during the holy month of Ramadan comes to an end, with Muslims all over the world celebrating Eid-Al- Fitr this week. While celebrations have begun since the sighting of the crescent moon in many parts of the world, India celebrates Eid on Wednesday, 5 June.
The festival marks a time when communities all over the Muslim world come together to focus on family and community and to revere the spirit of generosity.
