Hyderabad Central University students held protests this week seeking suspension of their Vice Chancellor Appa Rao. The agitated students also demanded the removal of the police force from their campus.

On Wednesday, HCU prevented Jawaharlal Nehru University student leader Kanhaiya Kumar from joining students protesting the suicide of academic Rohith Vemula earlier this year.
