The music launch of the upcoming film Gully Boy was held in Mumbai on Thursday 24 January amidst much fan fare. Stars of the movie Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt performed in a public concert at the event. In keeping with the theme of the film, Ranveer dropped some sick rhymes. Rapper Divine whose life the film is inspired by performed at the event along with his original Gully Gang. Ranveer joined in with them to prove his rapping skills could match. Alia Bhatt hyped up the crowd. The audience was in a frenzy.

Gully Boy is the story of a rapper from the streets of Mumbai who dreams of making it big. Kalki Koechlin and Vijay Raaz also star. Gully Boy is directed by Zoya Akhtar and will land in theatres 14 February.
