In Photos: Manipur Suffers Heavy Damage in Quake Aftermath
Buildings collapsed in Manipur after a 6.7 magnitude earthquake struck in the early hours of Monday.

A 6.7 magnitude earthquake hit Manipur and the Northeast region at 4:35 am, leaving nine dead and over 200 injured.
The quake struck 29 kilometres west of Imphal, the capital of Manipur. Tremors were also felt in Bangladesh, Nepal, Myanmar.
Rescue efforts have been hampered by disrupted power supplies and telecommunication links.
