A little school located in the streets of Seelampur in Delhi has an intermingling of lesson of faith and lessons of women empowerment.

“These girls have to prove to the world that intelligence and knowledge lies even under those burkhas,” Mr Ansari, the owner of the school told me, beaming with pride.

On Republic Day, these girls brimming with nationalistic pride chanted, “Mulk ki mohabbat mein (for the love of our nation)” as the celebratory performances began in uniform colours of black, orange, green and whites.
