The festival of colour is just around the corner. With Holi coming in the third week of March, people all over the country are gearing up to party with colours. Holi celebrates the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, end of winter, and for many, it is a festive day to let loose.
However, Holi celebrations are not just limited to India anymore. People from across the world are into the idea of partying with colours – so much so that there are now many festivals around the world that are inspired by the concept of Holi. These festivals do not necessarily happen during the time of Holi, though.
