Yesterday, Brilliant Horam (27) was brutally beaten up by three men in Delhi’s Bengali Market while exiting a stationary shop. He was beaten up because he was from Manipur.  The following is a message for the ignorant assh**es who attacked him.

North Indians don’t like it when Maharashtrian goons beat us up in Bombay in right? Why? Because this is India. And anyone who is a citizen of India is an Indian.

And this is the north east. It’s a part of India! All of these guys are Indians. Didn’t they teach you idiots about the Seven Sisters in school? Or were you too dumb to pay attention? They didn’t expect to be attacked by goons in their own country.

What is wrong with us? We want Assam’s oil, we want Darjeeling tea. We adore Mary Kom, we make Bhaichung our football captain and we honor the Shillong Choir.  We are fighting tooth and nail with China over Arunachal.

We want to assert the ‘integrity of india’ but we hate so many people who are Indians.

You guys are ignorant idiots and cowards. It takes three of you to jump one guy?

To call you criminals would be an insult to criminals. You didn’t attack the boy to steal his wallet or his watch. You attacked him because you didn’t like the way he looked. The colour of his skin and the slant of his eyes.

People like you make a case for hate crime legislation. People like you are responsible for Indians hating their own country.
