United States Presidential candidate for 2016, Donald Trump used to sleep with a book of Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler’s speeches by his bedside, his former wife Ivana Trump had said in an interview with Vanity Fair in 1990.

A report by Business Insider, cites an excerpt from the interview where Ivana tells her lawyer Michael Kennedy that Trump reads a book of Hitler’s collected speeches, My New Order and keeps it in a cabinet by his bed.

Last April, perhaps in a surge of Czech nationalism, Ivana Trump told her lawyer Michael Kennedy that from time to time her husband reads a book of Hitler’s collected speeches, My New Order, which he keeps in a cabinet by his bed ... Hitler’s speeches, from his earliest days up through the Phony War of 1939, reveal his extraordinary ability as a master propagandist

When Brenner asked Trump about the copy of Hitler’s speeches, Trump ‘hesitated’ at first. He then replied that it was his ‘Jewish’ friend Marty Davis from Paramount who gave him the copy, something Davis confirmed later.

But it was ‘My New Order,’ Hitler’s speeches, not ‘Mein Kampf’. I thought he (Donald Trump) would find it interesting. I am his friend, but I’m not Jewish.
