Trump Postpones Fake News Awards, Late-Night Show Hosts Can’t Wait

Unfortunately, this serious item on Trump’s to-do list has had to take a backseat for a few days. What a pity!

Donald Trump has handed late-night show hosts the 1,927,465th reason to joke about what his presidency thinks is “important”.

Donald Trump is the President of the United States of America. You’d imagine that that would mean he’s a really, really busy man. With important things like geopolitics, national security, economic affairs, etc on his plate.

But Trump also promised to fit in time for his own fake news awards show. Unfortunately, that serious item on his to-do list has had to take a backseat for a few days.

The Donald announced on Twitter, “The Fake News Awards, those going to the most corrupt & biased of the Mainstream Media, will be presented to the losers on Wednesday, January 17th, rather than this coming Monday. The interest in, and importance of, these awards is far greater than anyone could have anticipated!”

Damn. Everyone’s been waiting for Trump’s latest reality show, ‘THE MOST DISHONEST & CORRUPT MEDIA AWARDS OF THE YEAR’.

Donald Trump is prone to awarding himself with superlative praise. He has the best memory, he knows the most words, he respects women more than anyone else, you get the drift. All self-awarded titles, mind you.

But people are now reminding Trump that there’s another award he could very well win. His own Fake News Awards.
