In response to Donald Trump’s scary attempts at wooing Asian Americans, a group of actors, musicians, and writers have joined forces to send their own message to their community.
11 South Asian American celebrities were featured in a video in which they are appealing to their parents, grandparents and elders from their community to wake out of their slumber and #VoteAgainstHate.

Election night is barely a few days away and the possibility of Donald Trump at the helm of the United States of America has been worrying many. Closer to home, the Hindu Sena has called the election in the favour of Trump, sending shock-cum-funny waves across the country.
Indians make up one of the largest diasporas in America. They leave their country in search of the ‘American Dream’, a dream that would give them a better job, a better salary, a respectable societal status and quality education for their children.
Yet, it is painful when they defeat the same idea by supporting a man who is the antithesis of all that immigrants go to the country for.
Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump may have failed to disavow the Ku Klux Klan in late February, but he’ll have you know he is not racist. In fact, he claims to be “the least racist person that you have ever met”.
Trump, however, has not given us many reasons to believe that; but evidence supporting the opposite is out there for us to marvel at.
Here's a list of just a few of the most outrageous and bigoted things that the Republican front-runner has said in the course of his campaign. Again, this is only a few.
We hope that immigrant parents listen to their children and vote against hate, not for a person who is the very antitheses of their aspirations.
