On 14 February, the hallways and classrooms of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida witnessed a deadly school massacre that claimed 17 lives. On 14 March, exactly a month after the attack, students across the United States walked out of their classrooms to pay tribute to their fellow students who became a victim of the gun violence.

Thousands of students participated in the 17-minute long march, that was called to raise awareness about the issue of school safety and the gun violence in the US.
