Media Tycoon Rupert Murdoch Engaged to Former Model Jerry Hall

The media tycoon and former supermodel and actress got engaged over the weekend in Los Angeles.

Australian-born American business tycoon Rupert Murdoch has announced his engagement to former actress and model, Jerry Hall.

Murdoch, the chairman and CEO of News Corp, whose current net worth is $11. 2 billion, announced his engagement on the Births, Marriages and Deaths page of The Times, the newspaper owned by News Corp.

News of the engagement comes after a four-month romance; Murdoch, 84, and Hall, 59, made their relationship public in October 2015.

The couple got engaged over the weekend in Los Angeles, where they attended the Golden Globes Awards Gala, reported The Times.
