Just weeks after an airline denied actor and fashion designer Waris Ahluwalia entry into an aircraft because of his turban, Canadian YouTuber Jus Reign found himself in a similar situation.
Reign, whose real name is Jasmeet Singh, was made to take off his turban at the San Francisco airport on Sunday.
Reign said he asked the Transport Security Administration (TSA) for a mirror to wear the turban again, but was told to go to a public restroom instead.
Sikhs are often the victims of Xenophobia in the US and are subjected to similar security checks.
Referring to an earlier incident, Reign said he was glad that Ahluwalia and he were in a position where they could educate people about the discrimination they face.
