In a fresh attack against the Pakistani government, Jammat-ud-Dawah (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed slammed the government for not bringing in Islamic rule in the country.
According to ANI, Saeed while addressing an event had said:
Blaming Israel and US for the political chaos in the country, Saeed said that after losing a war in Afghanistan, Israel had now turned its focus on to Pakistan, and America was executing ‘Israel’s agenda effectively.’
“The unity that I am seeing today here is good but we need bigger and better unity and start a revolution. We have to stand up and do something better for Islam and Pakistan,” he added.
The UN-designated latest criticism against the government comes days after Pakistan banned JuD and its affiliates from taking donations. The Pakistan government’s move to cut off funds is seen as a reaction to the US’ decision to suspend military aid to the country owing to their ‘inaction towards terrorism’ stemming from their grounds.
The 26/11 mastermind meanwhile is set to contest the Pakistan general elections later this year. He was recently released from house arrest after a Pakistani court said that there was ‘a lack of evidence’ against him in the 26/111 Mumbai attacks.
