Italy Earthquake: Pup Rescued After Being Buried Alive For 2 Days

A puppy named Ulysses, after the legendary Greek king, was rescued from a rubble in Norcia, central Italy, after the town was hit by a 6.5-magnitude earthquake on 30 October.

The yelping pup was found by the firefighters, after being buried alive for two days. A video was recently released where the dog is carefully pulled out of the ruins.

Puppy Ulysses was later sent to a vet in Rieti and was in good condition, according to local reports.

In August, villages surrounding Amatrice (central Italy) were devastated by a 6.2-magnitude quake, which killed 298 people.
