Terror convict in 2008 Mumbai attack, Hafiz Saeed, blamed the United States of America (USA) for joining hands with India against the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) on Wednesday.
Convener of terror organisation Jamaat-ud-Dawa, Saeed also blamed the Indo-US relation for working against the Muslim world.
During the launch of the 820-kilometre-long cable project stretching from Rawalpindi to Khunjerab in Gilgit-Baltistan in May, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had said that the project will provide an alternate telecommunication route between Pakistan and China, will also bring 3G and 4G connectivity to the Gilgit region.
Spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, Vikas Swarup state don 1 September that the Indian government is gravely concerned about the construction of the CPEC as it passes through Indian land under illegal occupation.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday conveyed India’s concerns over terrorism emanating from Pakistan through which the $46 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is being built to Chinese President Xi Jinping.
