Drone footage shot by an amateur, showing the extent of the devastation caused by the earthquake in Nepal’s capital, Kathmandu, was released last evening.

Kishor Rana’s aerial shots of show just how badly some of landmark spots of Kathmandu have been damaged.

These are desperate times but we must all unite in times like these. Here are the footages I took today after the 7.9 earthquake that hit us. Out of respect to victims’ families, I did not take footages of live rescues taking place. We not only lost many lives and homes but we lost many pieces of our cultural heritage, our history. These are the footages of all the ancient cultural heritage sites that were destroyed during the earthquake.
