Emotions ran high at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago as Barack Obama took the stage to deliver his final address as the President of the United States.
Near the end of a powerful speech urging the nation to fight against divisive forces, Obama turned his focus to those closest to him, to thank them for standing by his side throughout his eight years in office. His eyes welled up during his special shout-out to his wife Michelle Obama, while his tributes to his daughters, Malia and Sasha, and Vice President Joe Biden tugged at everyone's heart.
