AAP leader Kumar Vishwas has said he has not received a notice from the Delhi Women’s Commission (DCW). The DCW has censured Vishwas after an AAP volunteer lodged a complaint about speculation on social media that Vishwas and her had had an affair.

For his part, Vishwas has blamed the BJP’s ‘dirty tricks’ department for the controversy.

The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) had on Monday issued summons to Vishwas and his wife after the volunteer approached it claiming “false rumours” of his having had a relationship with her.

The complainant also said she wrote separate letters to Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and the police commissioner apprising them of the matter. She has alleged Vishwas took no action towards dispelling the “rumours” while Kejriwal did not take note of her complaint.
