The state of West Bengal was immersed in Ram Navami celebrations, probably for the first time ever as the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organised massive rallies across the state.

The Quint travelled to the Birbhum district to witness a BJP and a TMC rally. Both rallies were colorful and musical with people dancing on the streets as bystanders watched. Watch how the celebrations unfolded.
