Ahead of the Presidential polls, Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi are expected to meet BSP supremo Mayawati and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, according to ANI sources.
Rahul Gandhi has already spoken to former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav in connection with the polls. Sonia Gandhi is said to have called on Akhilesh’s father Mulayam Singh Yadav and Rastriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Yadav.
In the meantime, a meeting between National Conference's Omar Abdullah and Sonia Gandhi was held in the national capital.
