Paswan Urges Centre to Take Action Against Temples Banning Dalits
Ram Vilas Paswan said that a case of conspiracy to kill BJP MP Tarun Vijay should be registered.

Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) supremo, Ram Vilas Paswan, on Sunday, condemned the attack on BJP MP Tarun Vijay. On 20 May Vijay was attacked for for leading Dalits into a temple in Dehradun.
Paswan urged Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to identify the temples and public places where their entry is prohibited and ensure that Dalits are allowed to enter.
Paswan said that despite having laws against untouchability, Dalits are still being prohibited from entering temples. The minister said a case of conspiracy to kill Vijay should be registered.
