On Tuesday, the Government moved the Constitution Amendment Bill for introduction of Goods and Services Tax (GST). But it could not be debated because of the ruckus created in the parliament by the Opposition.

They raised slogans and demanded External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj’s resignation.

Arun Jaitely, Finance Minister, attacking the opposition said, “The opposition is using the issue of the minister merely as pretext. They do not want the bill to be passed.”
