Sheila Dikshit Likely to Be Given Punjab Congress Charge

• Former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit will most likely be given the Punjab Congress charge, after Kamal Nath’s resignation, according to media reports.
  
  
• Dikshit met with party President Sonia Gandhi in the capital earlier on Thursday, but did not comment on Punjab when probed by reporters.
  
  
• Kamal Nath resigned as Punjab Congress in-charge on Wednesday. The move came after controversies linked to his appointment, given his alleged role in the 1984 Sikh riots.
