The controversial book based on Manmohan Singh’s time as the Prime Minister of India – The Accidental Prime Minister: Manmohan Singh – will be brought to life in the form of a movie, reports The Economic Times.
The movie will release in theatres at the end of 2017. The movie, based on the book The Accidental Prime Minister: the Making and Unmaking of Manmohan Singh, written by Sanjaya Baru will be dubbed in over a dozen languages.
Baru, who once served as the media advisor to the Prime Minister, is currently the Director for Geo-Economics and Strategy at the International Institute for Strategic Studies. Baru was Manmohan Singh’s media advisor from 2004 to 2008.

Rao’s last rites were held in Hyderabad after Congress leaders convinced Rao’s kin to do so.
The movie producers told The Economic Times that they were aspiring to cast Manoj Bajpayee, who played the role of Professor Siras in Aligarh, as Sanjaya Baru.
The producers are looking at faces form overseas to fit the role of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, in case they do not find a fitting face from India. The producer, Sanjay Bohra, has said that:
