The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is expected to retain power in Haryana with a comfortable win, according to all exit polls.
The BJP came to power on its own in Haryana for the first time in 2014, winning 47 out of 90 seats.

The Times Now-VMR opinion poll has predicted a second term for the BJP with a massive win in 71 seats, while predicting 11 seats for the Congress. The others are predicted to win eight seats.
News18-IPSOS has also predicted a clean sweep for the BJP with a win in 75 seats, while giving the Congress 10 seats and 5 to others.

According to the ABP-CVoter exit poll, the BJP is expected to lead with 70 seats, while predicting 8 seats for the Congress and 12 for others.
Going by Republic TV-Jan Ki Baat exit polls, a close contest is expected in Haryana in contrast to the other exit polls. 52-63 seats are expected to go to the BJP while the Congress is predicted to win 15-19 seats. The others are expected to get 12-19 seats.
India Today-Axis My India exit poll has predicted a neck-to-neck contest between the BJP and the Congress – 32-44 seats are expected to go to the BJP, while Congress is expected to get 30-42 seats.
The main contest is pegged to be between the BJP and Congress. The other parties are Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) and Indian National Lok Dal (INLD).
The results will be out on 24 October, along with those for the Maharashtra elections.
