PM Modi Announces Aid for Victims of Floods, Ghatkopar Tragedy

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on 31 July, announced compensation for people who have been hit by a number of disasters over the last few days.

The compensations approved include benefits for victims in flood-hit states, and the recent Ghatkopar building collapse that saw over 17 people lose their lives.

The announcement was made through a series of tweets from the Prime Minister’s official handle.
