Following raids on Karnataka energy minister DK Shivakumar and other party leaders, members of the Karnataka Youth Congress vandalised the office of the Income Tax department in the coastal city of Managaluru.

The party workers, who were initially protesting outside, later pelted stones at the Central Revenue office in Attavar. The glass panels in front of office were shattered by the protesters, who also burnt tyres outside the premises.
