The Uttar Pradesh Board has declared results for over 58 lakh candidates of Class 10 and 12 on 27 April and congratulatory messages have already started pouring in.
In the wake of the results, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath and Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra took to Twitter to congratulate the students.
In his tweet, Yogi Adityanath said, “Heartiest congratulations to the students who have succeeded in the Uttar Pradesh Board exams. Students should understand that this test is just a stage of life and there will be many more of these. I pray to God that all the students pass with flying colours through every stage in their lives.”
In no time, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra tweeted a congratulatory message as well.
"Many congratulations to all the girl students and other students who have succeeded in UP Board 2019. Good luck for your bright future. Keep trying. Those who keep trying always reach the heights," Vadra said in her tweet.
Gautami Raghuvanshi has topped Class 10 with 97.17 percent and Tanu Tomar has topped Class 12 with 97.83 percent. This year, the overall pass percentage stands at 80.07 percent for Class 10 and at 70.06 percent for Class 12.
In the Class 12 UP Boards, the top three ranks have been secured by girls – Bhagyashree Upadhyay has bagged the second position and Akanksha Shukla has secured third rank.
