Woman Delivers Baby Boy at Thane Railway Station

The woman was on her way to a hospital in Vashi.

On Wednesday, a 25-year-old woman who was on her way to the hospital, delivered a baby on platform number 10 of Thane station.

Jahnvi Jadhav experienced labour pains and her neighbours decided to take her to the hospital in Vashi. While waiting for the train, she delivered the baby, as Hindustan Times reported.

A female constable came to her aid and women passengers helped with the delivery.

The baby boy was healthy and the Government Railway Police in Thane has taken note of the incident.
