India will mark the Golden Jubillee of its victory against Pakistan in the 1965 War on July 4. Both countries believe they won the 17-day war that caused and are taught as much in their school text books.
A Pakistani text book says India “begged” for mercy and “ran to the United Nations” for help, according to Dawn.
The Indian school textbook, obviously, has a different version.
