The recent floods in Chennai brought about by the freak rainfall did not spare even South Indian actress Keerthy Suresh’s house, which got submerged.
Recounting the harrowing experience on her Facebook account, the actress posted a picture of her inundated house along with a description of what happened on Wednesday.
She says that the water gushed in from all directions and was thigh-high inside the house, recalling the situation faced by her and her family as indescribable.
Her grandmother had a providential escape as she left the MIOT hospital one day before tragedy struck when 18 people died as a result of the power and oxygen supply allegedly snapping due to the deluge.
Keerthy appeared as a child actress in the early 2000s before debuting as a heroine in the 2013 Malayalam film Geethanjali directed by Priyadarshan.
