Third Time’s a Charm? Mallya to Marry Girlfriend Pinky Lalwani

In what is going to be his third marriage, liquor baron Vijay Mallya, who is absconding from the country on charges of fraud and money laundering amounting to Rs 9,000 crore is expected to tie the knot with girlfriend Pinky Lalwani.

Pinky Lalwani is a former Kingfisher air hostess. The couple met when Mallya hired Lalwani in 2011. 

Lalwani has reportedly stood by Mallya's side despite their age difference and the charges against him, and she has also been seen alongside Vijay Mallya on his trips to a London court for hearings on his extradition, NDTV reported.

According to media reports, she has been on good terms with Mallya's family and has been frequently spotted with them at events. NDTV reported that Lalwani lives with Mallya at his mansion in Hertfordshire, about an hour and a half from London.

The duo have reportedly celebrated the third anniversary of their relationship last week.

Mallya’s first wife was Sameera Tyabjee, also an air hostess, whom he was married to from 1986 to 1987. His second wife was Rekha Mallya, whom he married in 1993, and is still legally married to her

Mallya has three children – Siddharth, Leanna and Tanya.

He is facing charges of fraud and money laundering related to now defunct Kingfisher Airlines owing several Indian banks around Rs 9,000 crore.
