Vigilance Dept to Investigate Soil Scam Involving Lalu, Tej Yadav

• On Saturday, the Bihar government handed over the investigation of the Soil Scam to the vigilance department.
• Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and his son Tej Pratap Yadav are accused in the scam.
• Tej Pratap reportedly awarded a 90-lakh contract to fill the earth in the Patna Zoo to a company, which will be taking soil from a mall site, where his siblings and his mother are shareholders.
