On 3 December, Kulwinder Kaur – a dancer performing at a wedding function at Maur Mandi near Bathinda in Punjab – was gunned down by a drunk man. Her fault? She turned down the man (Lucky Goyal) who wanted to dance with her on stage.
More than two months after her death, a video has emerged where a man named Lucky Moga has threatened to burn alive the accused. “I will beat you up and burn you alive if justice is not served,” Moga, a member of the gangster Sukha Kahlon group, says in the video.
The tragic case of Kulwinder Kaur was compounded after her husband Rajinder Singh was found dead a few days ago under suspicious circumstances in Malout in Muktsar district of Punjab.
