Lance Naik Hanumanthappa defied death at Siachen, surviving for six whole days despite being buried under 35 feet of snow. His miraculous survival has won the hearts of the entire nation and tributes, good wishes and prayers have poured in on social media.

Perhaps the most heartwarming response is from Lance Naik Hanumanthappa’s wife. Here she is, her child in her arms; happiness and relief written all over her face.
