Tik Tok Star, Who Had Over 5 Lakh Followers, Shot Dead in Delhi

Mohit Mor, a 27-year-old fitness instructor, who shot to fame because of his huge fan-following on a social media platform called Tik-Tok, was shot dead by three assailants on Tuesday, 21 May.

The incident occurred around 5.15 pm when Mohit went to meet his friend at a photo shop near his residence in Najafgarh's Dharmpura area, the police reported.

According to police, he suffered seven bullet injuries and was declared brought dead at the hospital. The police has also seen the accused on CCTV Footage running away from the busy narrow street after the crime.

“When Mohit Mor was busy talking with his friend inside the shop, three armed persons barged inside the shop and indiscriminately fired 13 bullets on him. Mohit Mor fell on a sofa kept inside the shop.”

The social media star had a great fan following on the app with over 5 lakh subscribers and his videos having more than 8.4 million ‘heart reacts’ on it. On Instagram, he had over 3,000 people following him.

Police are trying to identify the accused and according to the them, prima facie, it appears as a case of personal enmity and and a money dispute.

“We are checking his TikTok and Instagram accounts comments and Call Details Record (CDR) to establish his enmity with anyone on social media that may help us to crack the case”
