At a time when SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 is breaking box-office records, a Baahubali was born at Nandankanan Zoological Park at the outskirts of Odisha's state capital Bhubaneswar.

'Baahubali' is the name of a tiger cub born at the zoo on Thursday. The cub has been named ‘Baahubali' in the presence of Odisha Forest and Environment minister Bijayshree Routray as the majority of the zoo’s visitors preferred the name.

Tigresses Megha and Vijaya gave birth to four cubs including ‘Baahubali’ at Nandankanan Zoological Park. Three melanistic tiger cubs were also born at the zoo to white tigress Sneha.

Other six cubs were named Kundan, Adyasha, Sahil, Vicky, Sinu and Mousumi.
