Teenage Indian Girl to Speak About Child Rights at United Nations

A young girl from Bhopal is off to UN to raise important issues about child rights across the globe.

Yashaswi Kumud has been working for the cause of women and children since she was 4-year-old.

Yashaswi Kumud is going to represent India at United Nations, New York, as part of a 15-member kids’ delegation. Kumud has been associated with women and child development issues since the age of 4.

Kumud says that, at the UN, she will raise important topics related to child rights in India and urge the stakeholders for necessary actions.
