The safety of schools remain a matter of grave concern even after the murder in Gurugram's Ryan International School pushed the authorities to take preventive measures.

Gurugram remains under scanner as a sweeper of a private school was arrested today for allegedly molesting two class 3 students of Vidya School.

According to a Times of India report, the Police said the 33 year-old-sweeper Suresh Kumar tried to sexually harass the girls when they had gone to the school's washroom on Monday.

Hindustan Times reported that the school authorities checked the CCTV footage after the girls narrated the horrific ordeal during a counselling session in the school.

Kumar was seen trying to hug and molest the girls in CCTV footage.

The Principal of the Vidya School in DLF Phase 3 registered a complaint against the sweeper after which action was taken against him.

A case under section 10 of Pocso Act was registered against the accused, and the statements of the students would be recorded soon.
Kailash Yadav, SHO, women police station, reported <a href="http://www.hindustantimes.com/gurgaon/gurgaon-2-students-molested-by-sweeper-in-vidya-school-accused-arrested/story-Xy1L9esVefPwaltvZNFzWI.html">Hindustan Times</a>.

After the revelation of lapse of security in Ryan International School on 8 September, the Gurugram district administration issued directives to all schools earlier on 26 September to submit safety certificates in 15 days.
