States to Compensate Victims of Cow Vigilantism: Supreme Court
Gujarat, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh filed their compliance reports.

The Supreme Court, on 22 September, asked for compliance reports from states on the issue of cow vigilantism, reported ANI. The next hearing will take place on 31 October.
The apex court said all states are under an obligation to compensate victims of violence in the name of cow vigilantism, reported ANI.
Gujarat, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh filed their compliance reports on 22 September. The Supreme Court has requested other states to file their reports at the earliest.
