SC Asks Azam Khan to Apologise Over Bulandshahr Gangrape Remark
Azam Khan had said that the Bulandshahr gangrape of a mother and her daughter could be a “political conspiracy”.

On Thursday, the Supreme Court directed UP Minister Azam Khan to file an affidavit with an apology for his insensitive remark on Bulandshahr rape case.
The apex court had on 29 August taken note of the controversial remarks of Khan that the gangrape case was a “political conspiracy”, while staying the CBI probe in the case.
The next hearing of the case is due on 7 December.
