The other deceased include Sub-Inspector K K Das, Assistant Sub-Inspectors Sanjay Kumar, Rameswar Lal, Naresh Kumar, Head Constables Surender Kumar, Banna Ram, L P Singh, Naresh Yadav, Padmanabhanand and Ram Mehar, Constables Saurabh Kumar, Abhay Mishra, Banmali Ram, N P Sonkar, K K Pandey, Vinay Chandra Burman, P Alagupandi, Abhay Kumar, N Senthil Kumar, N Thirumurgan, Ranjit Kumar, Ashish Singh, Manoj Kumar and Anup Karmakar.
The CRPF forces claimed on Monday that a considerable number of naxalites were killled in the ambush, although no bodies have been discovered yet.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also tweeted his condolences to the families of the martyred jawans. He further wished a speedy recovery to the injured jawans.
Home Minister Rajnath Singh tweeted after the attack, expressing his condolences.
Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu also took to Twitter to grieve the loss of the jawans, adding that their sacrifices will not go in vain.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi saluted the ‘sacrifice and courage’ of the martyred jawans, via Twitter.
CRPF constable Sher Mohammed said that around 300 Naxals were sent to trace the CRPF’s location, after which an ambush was carried out. There were around 150 jawans. The CRPF also gunned down many of the Naxals.
MoS Home Hansraj Ahir will visit Raipur later in the day, over the naxal attack which claimed the lives of 24 CRPF Jawans in Sukma district.

Six CRPF personnel, who were injured in the Naxal encounter in Sukma district, were evacuated to Raipur.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh has called for an emergency meeting after the news of the encounter broke out.
He has cancelled his engagements in Delhi and has rushed back to Raipur to hold a meeting later in the day.
12 CRPF personnel were killed and six were injured in an encounter with Naxals in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district on Monday.
The encounter took place at around 12:25 pm in Burkapal-Chintagufa area in south Bastar.
"The Naxals fired at a patrolling party of the CRPF near Burkapal village," said Special Director General (anti-Naxal operations) of Chhattisgarh Police, D M Awasthi .
90 CRPF jawans were part of the road opening party when they were attacked by Naxals. The weapons of jawans have also been looted.
The jawans were from the 74th battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
This comes only a month after 12 CRPF personnel were killed in Sukma and their arms looted on counting day on 11 March, making the attack the biggest this year.
