Archit, a student, talked about politics and current affairs with journalists eloquently which may put many of the country’s adult population to shame.

Talking about the infamous governmental decision of demonetisation he said “How many politicians are there whose black money has been declared in the open? It’s only the common people who have suffered thus far”. He went on to say that the decision was seemingly taken in haste and had it been done in a better planned manner, it could have achieved the desired objective.

On politicians, he said he admires Mayawati as she not only talks about Dalits, but everyone else. As for the park she built which was highly criticised, he said that she made a space for the backward castes, who were always discriminated against, to go to a place and reclaim their identity without fear from others.

He also believes that if there are more politicians like Arvind Kejriwal, who are IIT graduates and highly educated, they will be able to help the country’s progress for they have a better understanding of the world.
