After a series of insensitive tweets, singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya apologised for his actions earlier in the day.

In a long apology note, Abhijeet mentioned that he was “angry and sad that our fellow human beings get this kind of death.”

While Abhijeet recounted an incident where he played messiah to an injured homeless man, he went on to explain that the tweets posted earlier in the day, were “in the heat of the moment” and that a “human doesn’t deserve to die a dog’s death.”

Abhijeet’s vitriolic tweets had received severe flak from not just within the film fraternity but the public in general too.
