Siddhartha Das claims to have lost contact with Indrani after they parted ways in 1989.
Sheena Bora was born in 1987, according to Siddhartha Das, but her high school examination admit card shows her birthdate to be February 11, 1989.
Siddhartha Das, Indrani’s ex-partner confirms to Times Now from Kolkata that he’s the father of Sheena Bora and is more than willing to undergo a DNA test.
The Telegraph reports that it contacted Siddhartha Das, Indrani’s first husband. Although difficult to verify, The Telegraph reports Das confirmed that he was Indrani’s husband but refused to answer further questions about Sheena and Mikhail Bora or if he was in hiding, as media reports suggested.
Mikhail Bora’s credibility is being questioned as an eyewitness because of the inconsistencies in his statements to the police, according to Times Now.
As reported by The Quint earlier, Siddhartha might have gone “underground” on August 19, six days before Indrani Mukerjea was arrested for conspiring to murder Sheena along with two other accomplices.
Sheena Bora’s mobile phone is yet to be recovered, reports CNN IBN.
The channel also reports that Bandra court has extended the police custody of Indrani Mukherjea, her ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna and her driver Shyam Rai till September 5 for further questioning. The remand application says that there is suspicion of more people from outside state being involved in the act.
